The first 10 days with Silas

We have enjoyed our first 10 days with the addition of Silas to our household. As Matt puts it, "Its feels like we really have a family now that we have 2 kids". Silas has been a good baby so far. He is good at eating & sleeping. Most nights I get up with him twice, but he usually goes right back to sleep. He had his 1st Dr's appointment on Tues. (5 days old) and he had actually gained an ounce instead of losing a couple like babies usually do. Noah has been really good so far too. It helps that he is getting a lot of attention from his daddy. He is even starting to request that daddy put his shoes on or get him out of bed instead of mommy. We may be in for a the bigger adjustment when Matt has to go back to school. Noah's new favorite phrase is "no help" (Or "Noah help" - we're not really sure which one he is saying), but he is definitely becoming more independent.
