We decided to head to the zoo on Friday before it got too hot (& to give Matt a break from his garage project). Sharon & the girls came along. We thought it would be a good idea to go before all the public schools got out b/c it might be less busy. However, none of us thought that the public school might all be taking a field trip to the zoo during the 2nd to last week of school. Needless to say the zoo was not nearly as empty and peaceful as we had hoped for. The only person really excited to see all the buses in the parking lot was Noah who loves spotting buses ("more bus"). All those buses may have been just as exciting to him as all the animals we saw. We ended up having a good time & the weather was great. I can't believe I'm wearing a sweater & it's almost June!
