Vacation

Last week we enjoyed a wonderful four days at the coast. It was our final little getaway before baby #2 joins the fun. We enjoyed spending two nights at San Luis Bay Inn with the Heeringas and then we camped 2 nights at Montana de Oro State Park with the Pausmas. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed great company & great weather. We were able to do some relaxing, tidepooling & hiking as a family. Matt also did a lot of ocean kayaking (some of which was safe) and he was able to see dolphins, sea lions, and sea otters. Noah enjoyed every moment of exploring the new places we went and things we did. He loved seeing the ocean & would get upset when we drove away from it. He also loved the whole camping experience - although he was a little afraid of sleeping in the tent the first night. We had to keep the flashlight on for awhile & then he woke up in the middle of the night & was WIDE awake looking around & listening to everything & talking. He finally fell back asleep after it was getting light out. He slept much better the second night - I think he was exhausted. We are so thankful we had this opportunity to get away and have a fun time as a family.
