For the first time in many years we stayed in California for Christmas. Although we miss seeing our families the boys are at the age where celebrating with just our family is a lot of fun. It has been a very fun and relaxing week (I don't miss the stress of flying!). We had a lot of fun opening our presents on Christmas Day. Once again, puzzles were a big hit with Silas. After he opened his first puzzle we had to pull him away just to open more presents because all he wanted to do was work on his puzzle. Noah loved receiving his first small lego sets and has already spent hours with Matt assembling. Noah also received a digital watch which was huge hit. Thank you to everyone for sending such wonderful gifts!
We also enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Pausma's house and had a fun time playing some X-box games. Ashley's mom was visiting and Noah proceeded to keep her and the rest of us updated with what time it was the whole day. (Every few minutes we would hear "It's (insert a time) already - can you believe it!").
They loved their stuffed animals and puppets!

Trying out the bathroom in Silas's new duplo set (yes it came with a potty!)
