Christmas in Wisconsin

We enjoyed a wonderful week in Wisconsin with Matt's family this Christmas. We flew out early Christmas morning and had to wake up at 3:30 am to catch our flight. The minute we woke Noah up he said "I'm ready daddy!". He was so excited to fly on the airplane. The pilot of our first flight noticed how interested he was in airplanes, so he said he could come and see the cockpit if he wanted to, so that was a special treat. Noah also thought it was wonderful to be served apple juice (in it's undiluted form) in a cup with a straw. He acted like royalty when he was served. The Denver airport was the best because there were airplanes everywhere. I can still envision Noah running in the terminal saying "Another airplane, another airplane". Noah didn't manage to sleep the whole way to Wisconsin because he was so excited. Silas traveled quite well too. We are thankful that our travels were safe & went so smoothly.

Grandpa & Grandma's house was full of little kids this year. It was so great to meet Steve and Rachel's 3 month old twins and to see Noah play with cousins Karis & Caleb. Silas enjoyed every minute of all the attention he got and was a sweetheart & full of smiles for everyone. It was a great trip and it was so great to catch up with everyone. We are thankful for such a wonderful family.

The cockpit (does Noah look tired or what?)

Noah got go sledding for the first time.
(All this snow was gone by the time we left b/c of rain & 50 degree temps)

Noah took over the opening of Silas' presents

"What it be?" as Noah would ask

Noah and Karis played really nice together.
I love these happy smiles!

Grandma kept busy holding all the babies.
Here she has Natalie and Silas.

Banana time!
