Late Winter in the Neighborhood

We are loving living on a cul-de-sac!  The neighborhood kids have all come out of the woodwork over the past year and the boys have made some really good friends.  It is so nice that they can all play up and down the street, and they especially enjoy it when a neighborhood baseball, soccer or even cricket game breaks out!  Our front yard is definitely used more than our backyard.  Whenever we hear a knock at the door we don't even get up to answer it anymore because it is almost always a neighborhood kid wanting to play.

We brought some scooters home from school one weekend to help
move some furniture.  The kids had a blast playing on them!

What a beautiful sight in the midst of our drought!

We enjoyed having my cousin Calvin and Jamie and two of their kids (missionaries in Guinea) over for dinner one evening.  We enjoyed playing some games and hearing some crazy stories.  The boys were especially captivated by all the stories of them having to kill poisonous snakes right outside their house!
