Silas brings such joy to our lives. He greets every day with the sweetest smile. He is very good natured and is just overall a happy guy. He doesn't mind being teased (he'll just tease you right back) and is definitely a goofball. It has been fun to see him learn about life and the world around him lately. One of our favorite recent observations of his had to do with ages and bedtimes. One evening at dinnertime it came out that we were going to allow Noah to stay up a bit later than him that night. We explained to Silas that Noah could do that because he was a bit older. A few moments later Silas says to me, "Mommy, are you older than Daddy?". I said "Yes", and he said "Do you get to stay up later than Daddy?". It is just so fun to see how they learn and reason about things. It is amazing how much they are absorbing at this age!
