Our trip to the Midwest began in Chicago at my sister Sheryl's house. All of my family came to Chicago to celebrate my niece Carrie's wedding to Tim Kamp. It was wonderful to see everyone again. It was especially neat for my parents & my sister Lynda to see Silas for the first time. Our flight to Chicago went well. Silas entertained (& was entertained) by all the people waiting in line to go to the bathroom on the plane & Noah once again enjoyed every moment of flying & was disappointed that we didn't get to fly on more than 1 airplane that day. We enjoyed a couple of relaxing days hanging out with the family before the wedding on Saturday. The day of the wedding was really hot and humid, but I guess you need to experience that if you go back to the Midwest in the summer. We also got to enjoy a good local fireworks show on the 3rd and on the 4th we got to enjoy a great fireworks show in my sister's front driveway. All fireworks are legal in Indiana, so it was pretty crazy out there. Our group bought some fireworks as well, so we got to enjoy shooting our own off for about an hour. Both boys seemed to really like them this year.
