I feel like we have more and more people to see now when we go back to Wisconsin. We were very glad to have my sister Sheryl and brother-in-law Mark drive up to Milwaukee so we could spend an afternoon with them. We enjoyed trying out a restaurant we heard of on Diners, Dive-Ins and Drives. I had deep fried turkey balls (a thanksgiving meal in a ball). It was amazingly good. The boys got to swim at their hotel and I found out that Sheryl must have had a crush on "The Fonz" from Happy Days since she really wanted to go see his statue in the freezing 8 degree weather!
It had been WAY too long since we had seen Kevin and Sharon Fikkert's family. Our kids were such good friends out in CA and we all miss them so much. It was so good to be back together again! We were able to go out on a date with Kevin and Sharon and really enjoyed hanging out and watching football at their house on New Year's Day.
